I don’t mean to brag about how amazing Matt and Trey are, because it does/doesn’t relate to the question.
Have you heard the comments he’s made about Matt and Trey? Like about the 200 & 201 episodes of South Park? “is this joke funny enough to be shot for?” REALLY, SETH? REALLY. Obviously, Matt & Trey have points to make, that’s why episodes like Super Best Friends, 200 and 201 are written. And censorship. That’s a huge controversy. Matt and Trey both fight for their rights, and they won’t stop for anything or anyone, until they make their point. Why the fuck do you think “shit” is allowed to be said on Comedy Central now? Matt had Anne Garefino call up and fight for that word to be put on the air after 9:30 PM. I know it can’t be said on Fox. But he could fight as a television series creator, for anti-censorship. But seriously, he doesn’t even write the episodes for Family Guy, American Dad and The Cleaveland Show anymore. ?!,!:$:&2&!!????? And people say he doesn’t have enough time…. Uhm………. Matt and Trey do South Park in 6 days for 7 weeks straight. They also have the most popular broadway musical out now, that is making over $1,000,000 every week in ticket sales, is the most expensive ticket on broadway, won 9 tony awards and many other awards, is going to Chicago and will soon embark on a national tour. Oh yeah, they do have to fly to New York periodically to check on it, and see how it is doing. They have to finish casting for the tour, and they need to cast the new people to take over Josh Gad and Andrew Rannells’ roles! They’re busy, too. But, Seth never gave South Park a chance, either. Trey and Matt gave Family Guy a chance. They watched either 10 episodes or a whole season, and they didn’t like it. But they gave it chance! Seth judges before he gives anything or anyone a chance. Sure, Seth’s net worth is more than Matt & Trey’s but, he has more TV shows out then Trey and Matt do. 3 is much more than one. And the shows are also in syndication on multiple networks. But he really doesn’t care about the fans of his shows as much Matt and Trey do. Who makes a website for fans to be apart of? To watch full episodes of every season? To make a press release of the new episodes every week on there? Matt and Trey launched southparkstudios.com and it’s been successful ever since. They don’t shove their religious beliefs down your throats. And South Park is just written SO WELL. It’s smart and hilarious. They’re just such brilliant men. Seth doesn’t care that he uses the stupid flashback gags, he just cares if it’s funny enough. That’s not how you pull off a tv show. You know it’s a great show when the plots are brilliant. That’s all I’m going to say. Matt and Trey will forever be my idols and heroes. They inspire me, they make me laugh hysterically, and they’ve helped me through the roughest times in my life. I love them and hope one day to meet them and thank them. They’re the reason I’m still here.
